Filming ‘Cloud Sediment (Gstaad)’ (2015-2016) in Switzerland with Sean Snyder

We were contacted by the world renowned artist Sean Synder to work with him on an intriguing art project in Switzerland. The location was MOUNT10, a former military bunker that has been turned into a secure cloud storage service. The location is right next to Gstaad airport. We therefore had to liaise with the control tower to get permission to fly our drone right over the runway. The design brief was different to our usual requests. The aim was not to showcase the beautiful Swiss Alps. Rather, it was to show the fragile nature of the drone, the facility and the cloud infrastructure it secured.
