Panoramic Drone Photo at Pointe du Hoc for the Eisenhower Memorial Tapestry

We worked with the brilliant architects Tomas Osinski and Frank Gehry as they created the 60-foot-tall, 450-foot-wide stainless steel tapestry for the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial in Washington D.C. Our task was to capture a panoramic aerial photo of the Pointe du Hoc in Normandy, France. We live-streamed the drone camera views direct to America, where their team was able to direct us from their office. Our aerial photo was converted into a wireframe drawing and then used for the steel tapestry. The project was a complete success; after more than 20 years in development, the tapestry was born!
